We’re not teenagers anymore, so we should know something about relationships and sex, right? Wrong.

It’s a mess. We have a show about puberty (Big Mouth). We have shows about midlife crises (BoJack Horseman). But the 20-to-40 audience has been left behind.

Familiar fairy-tale characters, a completely new approach to their lives after “happily ever after,” and a lot of wine, tears, gnomes, and centaurs.
